Tribute to Léon Halfin (1912 -1994)

etols (Electron Tube OnLine Shopping) is dedicated to the memory of Léon Halfin.

My father used to say: «WE WILL STILL TALK ABOUT THE ELECTRON TUBES IN THE NEXT 20 YEARS».

That statement made in the seventies, amused and surprised almost everyone….
Many years and others technologies passed and it is a fact that his prediction was true,
and in 2003, Electron Tubes are still alive and appreciated and respected as never before.
He was one of the world biggest tube specialists, very passionated in trading and travelling the 5 continents to purchase inventories.
In 1994, HALFIN SA tube division realized that the web gave a great opportunity to
link the international hard to please specialized shop and individual amateurs with our large inventory.
etols was created and dedicated to my very dear father.
